Asociación Cultural El Pico San Pedro en Colmenar Viejo

La gestación de esta Asociación Cultural El Pico San Pedro se remonta a los años 1986/7 en torno a un grupo de personas con inquietudes culturales, que a titulo de mero entretenimiento personal suplen la inexistencia de actividades culturales ofrecida en el municipio por aquellos años.
La Asociación nació con la vocación de aportar a Colmenar Viejo un ambiente cultural que impulsara la promoción, defensa y tutela de su Patrimonio cultural, Artístico y Ecológico, fomentando así mismo estudios e investigaciones sobre la localidad y la comarca, procurando la difusión de estos y otros conocimientos afines a todos los niveles, procurando la coordinación y protección de actividades análogas que se originen en la Comarca.
En cumplimiento de sus fines, la Asociación organizará diversidad de actividades: publicaciones, conferencias, música, exposiciones, viajes culturales…
Entre las actividades de febrero destacan la Cena y Baile del Carnaval 2010, el XIV Ciclo de Conferencias y una excursión corta a Segovia. Podéis ampliar la información de las actividades en www.picosanpedro.org
