Casa Rural El Caracol en Rascafría

Esta hermosa casa, ubicada en el corazón de la sierra de Guadarrama al norte de Madrid, ofrece paz, tranquilidad y belleza extraordinaria además de una gama extensa de actividades que incluyen senderismo, natación y esqui.
Su nombre, “El Caracol”, refleja el diseño único de su construcción en forma de un caracól.
Con sus paredes de piedra, y un interior decorado de madera, con bóvedas artesanales, tiene en su centro una acogedora chimenea de piedra. Y desde la ventana del salón hay vistas dramáticas del pico más alto de la sierra, Peñalara.
El diseño de la casa le permite armonizarse perfectamente con su entorno natural y tiene acceso directo a distintos caminos del monte y al río Lozoya que corre justo detrás de la finca, donde se puede bañar en sus aguas puras.
La casa es totalmente única. Construida con muros de piedra gruesas y formando la forma de la cáscara de un caracol… no existen esquinas y todo esta construido alrededor del fuego central.
En forma, parece ser diseñada por Gaudi, y se adapta perfectamente a cada estación: fresca en el verano, y calentita en el invierno.

Aw, this was a very great post. In principle I’d like to jot down like this also - taking time and actual effort to make an excellent article… however what can I say… I procrastinate alot and never seem to get something done.

You gave great points here. I made a research on the subject and found nearly all peoples will agree with your blog. Man! It is like you read my mind! You seem to know so much about this, just like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you could do with some pictures to drive the content home a bit, besides that, this is informative blog post. A wonderful read. I’ll definitely revisit again.
