VI Maratón Ornitológico Sierra de Guadarrama

Este año se celebra la 6ª Edición del Maratón Ornitológico Sierra de Guadarrama, el evento de educación ambiental que más participación atrae de toda la Comunidad de Madrid y en más municipios de forma simultánea.
Consiste en pasear por el campo, tratando de identificar las aves que veas. Tú eliges el recorrido (dentro de los términos de Colmenarejo, El Escorial, Fresnedillas de la Oliva, Galapagar, Hoyo de Manzanares, Las Rozas de Madrid, San Lorenzo de El Escorial y Torrelodones) y tú eliges el horario (entre las 9 y las 20,30 horas). No tienes que ser un experto; basta con tener ilusión y ganas de pasarlo bien con los tuyos.
¿Qué tienes que hacer?
Acude el día del Maratón (domingo, 26 de abril) de 9 a 14 horas, frente a alguno de los Ayuntamientos incluidos en el Maratón, además de en el Hogar del Jubilado en Fresnedillas y el Centro del Cantizal -junto a Eroski- en Las Rozas. Allí te puedes inscribir y te informaremos de todo.
¿Cómo se participa?
Se participa en grupos de dos personas que pueden llevar acompañantes. Cada grupo recibe, solo por participar, una guía de aves de la Sierra de Guadarrama, un precioso póster de aves y, como mínimo, un obsequio especial. Además se premian no menos de 30 grupos entre todos los municipios participantes, y no solo por el número de observaciones válidas a juicio del jurado, sino por otros conceptos que no tiene necesariamente relación con la calidad de las observaciones. De manera que cualquiera con ilusión y ganas de aprender puede resultar premiado en este prestigioso maratón, y conseguir más obsequios y un diploma personalizado.
