III Feria del Marisco en Colmenar Viejo
12 de Noviembre de 2008Mañana 13 de noviembre, y hasta el domingo 16 de noviembre, abrirá sus puertas la III Feria del Marisco de Colmenar Viejo, uno de los eventos gastronómicos más esperados por los vecinos de la localidad y de los municipios del resto de la comarca. Se trata de una cita en homenaje a los estómagos organizado por la Concejalía de Turismo del Ayuntamiento de la localidad que este año, como novedad, cambia de ubicación para instalarse en el aparcamiento situado detrás de la Biblioteca Municipal Miguel de Cervantes (C/ Padre Claret, 2).
En la Feria, propios y ajenos podrán degustar a lo largo de cuatro días algunos de los mejores productos del mar, y también de la tierra, de Galicia a precios asequibles.
Este año, una carpa de unos 1.000 metros cuadrados, con capacidad para unas 600 personas sentadas, reunirá a seis puestos que ofrecerán, a precios populares, productos típicos de Galicia, garantizando la máxima calidad así como plenas garantías sanitarias. El acceso a la carpa es gratuito y el horario será de 12:00 h a 16:00 h y de 18:30 h a 24:00 h.
La carta será tan amplia como suculenta: mejillones, berberechos, navajas, almejas, pulpo, zamburiñas, vieiras, nécoras, cigalas, camarones, langostinos, arroz de marisco o empanadas rellenas con distintos frutos del mar. En total, la III Feria arrancará ofreciendo cerca de 4.000 kilos de marisco, aunque los productos se irán reponiendo a diario según las necesidades.
Dicen en Galicia que una mariscada no es tal si no va acompañada de los vinos típicos gallegos, por lo que también se podrán probar Albariño y Ribeiro, los caldos más famosos de aquella tierra. Como no podía ser de otra forma tampoco faltará el típico postre Tarta de Santiago, queso de tetilla y con membrillo o filloas (creps) con crema de orujo, miel o con helado.
Uno de los atractivos de la III Feria volverán a ser los precios populares de los manjares que se servirán ya que se podrá degustar, por ejemplo, desde berberechos a la plancha por 8 € hasta zamburiñas a la plancha por 9 €, mejillones a la vinagreta o en salsa por 5,5 €, pulpo a la gallega a 10 € o beber una botella de Albariño por 10 €.
Para dar más vistosidad al evento, los comensales podrán observar la elaboración de todos y cada uno de los productos ya que se cocinarán con inmediatez a las peticiones.
El sábado 15 de noviembre, además, se repartirá queimada gratis a partir de las 23:30 h.
